Once a hub for Columbus’s electric streetcars, this project adapts a building in the Trolley District, transforming the environment into a dynamic office space. Our design team employed an immersive discovery process, closely collaborating with stakeholder teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the vision, goals, and operational requirements for the space. Guided by a user-centric approach, the design concept will thoughtfully integrate a harmonious blend of dedicated areas for private offices, open office layouts, meeting rooms, and collaborative zones. The makerspace is carefully crafted to inspire creativity, facilitate knowledge-sharing, and nurture a sense of community among its users. Seamless circulation patterns, ergonomic considerations, and strategic daylighting strategies will shape an environment that promotes productivity and well-being. Ultimately, the revitalized space serves as a dynamic hub that empowers its occupants to thrive, innovate, and unlock their full potential.
