GRANGE INSURANCE

Grange Insurance required a workplace transformation that would inspire post-pandemic office return while fostering meaningful departmental connections and expressing their forward-thinking organizational culture.

  • The design creates an ecosystem of spaces celebrating human connection while supporting diverse work preferences. A central café positioned at main circulation intersections functions as the building's social infrastructure, immediately communicating organizational commitment to employee wellbeing through spatial experience.

Programmatic environments support varied work modes: collaborative lounges enable spontaneous ideation, privacy pods provide acoustic refuge for concentrated tasks, and hybrid collaboration technology integrates without dominating human interaction. Environmental graphics and updated branding elements revitalize existing architecture, transforming visual experience while honoring corporate heritage.

The material palette balances warmth with professionalism, creating spaces that register as both innovative and approachable. Strategic reuse of existing infrastructure demonstrates sustainable transformation through targeted design interventions.

Employees report enhanced daily workplace experience supporting both productivity and personal wellbeing. The redesigned environment strengthens organizational culture by facilitating cross-team connections previously difficult to achieve. The transformation reinforces Grange's position within Columbus's Brewery District while demonstrating employee-centered innovation through spatial design.
